New to Yoga?

We have 2 Intro To Basic Yoga classes & 7 Gentle Classes each week! If you’re brand new to yoga, these are the classes for you! Learn basic poses and how to modify them as needed. It’s also a great place to start if you’ve been off the yoga mat for awhile.

Saturday, October 17: Meet the Fall - A practice of grounding and balancing this season - Join Alex Rogers for a 90-minute speciality class on exploring how the wall can be utilized to set an intention of balance as the seasons shift! 12:30-2:00pm. $15 for current pass card holders, $20 drop-in. Saturday, October 17: Sutra Sangha - Join our free, ongoing discussion on the teachings of the Yoga Sutras, and how we can apply these threads of knowledge to our everyday lives. 6:00-7:30pm, open to all!

Saturday & Sunday, October 24 - 25: From Ouch! to OM! Anatomy Weekend - Kat Hendrix, PhD and 500 RYT, will lead a weekend where we deepen the understanding of Yoga and our body. This two-day anatomy workshop will focus on finding more ease in your least favorite poses while avoiding common injuries. Registration is open!

Friday-Sunday, October 30 - November 1: Fall Yoga Retreat in Yogaville - Join Trace Sahaja Bonner at her beloved Ashram (spiritual retreat center) in Virginia - a wonderful place to practice easeful yoga, peaceful meditation, eat delicious vegetarian food, hike, and enjoy the weather in the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Saturday & Sunday, November 7 - 8:  Module 6 Samadhi: Arising of Awareness - Samadhi is a word which represents an enlightened state of consciousness; an awareness of the Self.  This advanced studies weekend is about learning how to teach from a place of awareness, which leads to inspiring classes. Saturday, November 14: Ayurveda Basics, Part II - Our first November seminar will explore the energies of the Fall and Winter Seasons and what you can do to avoid the perils of imbalances like dryness, cold and flu, stiffness, irritation, and other excessive symptoms.
