500 Hour Extended
Teacher Training
200 Hour Teachers! Earn all or part of your additional 300 hours towards 500 Hour Certification through our HCYC500 training!
Our Teacher Training programs are all designed to take the Yoga practitioner further into their practice. The more we understand and experience physically, mentally and spiritually through the practice, the more we can utilize the ancient Yoga teachings to transform us and give us the ability to share with others. We have several different programs to either deepen, grow or expand your understanding of Yoga.
Yoga Teacher Training

Children's Yoga Training with Kristi Barnes
August 1 -3
Join Holy Cow Kids Yoga Instructor Kristi Barnes for a fun-filled weekend learning to teach yoga to children.
Rediscover your sense of play as we explore:
❖ the benefits of children’s yoga and how children’s yoga differs from “adult” yoga
❖ appropriate poses and movement games for children of all ages
❖ additional components of children's yoga, including songs, stories, art and philosophy
❖ the art of teaching breathing, meditation, visualization, and relaxation to children
❖ tying it all together: sequencing, lesson plans, improvising, and creating themed classes
❖ building a profession, teaching in different environments, and maintaining order in the classroom
You will also participate in our Saturday morning kids class and have many opportunities for practice teaching and feedback with your peers.
You do not have to be a registered yoga teacher to attend this training. This training can be a valuable resource for anyone with an interest in sharing yoga with children, including parents, educators, and others who work with children in their profession.
Cost is $150 and includes books and training manual. Upon completion of training, you will be certified to teach Children’s Yoga. HCY500 participants receive 13 hours toward RYT500 certification.
The schedule for the weekend is as follows: Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Click HERE to see a detailed schedule for the weekend.
