Yoga and Self Perception
August 9, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Join Jeremiah Evers as we take a look at a new way to approach our yoga. In the first part of this workshop, we will be using the template of yin yoga as a way to access and explore the connective matrix responsible for much of our bodies dimension and structure. We will begin to see that much of the way we posture ourselves in the world is a result of life-long patterns held within this matrix. Through our asana practice, we can begin to change these potentially limiting patterns and create new ones, leading us towards a more spacious, vibrant, and fully authentic version of ourselves.
In the last part of the workshop, we will use a movement-oriented vinyasa practice as a way to help integrate the changes and bring them off the mat and into our lives. Through this integration, we may realize that our asana is not only a way to make us look better, but also a tool by which we can affect how we relate to ourselves and the world around us. Cost is $12 for pass card holders and $15 otherwise.
