Staying Healthy this Fall with Ayurveda taught by Jennifer Byrne

Staying Healthy this Fall with Ayurveda taught by Jennifer Byrne

Sunday, October 15 from 6:00pm-8:00pm
According to Ayurveda, the period from fall to early winter is the Vata time of year. The weather naturally becomes cooler as the days shorten, and soon the qualities of dryness, roughness, movement and subtlety begin to predominate. As we learn to recognize and attune to the cyclical rhythms of nature, we can begin to shift our diet and activities to synchronize with the new season and avoid common seasonal imbalances such as colds/flu, achy joints, dry skin and anxiety. In this class,
NAMA-certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor Jennifer Byrne will teach us Ayurvedic principles and practices that can help us to transition into a healthy fall and winter.
