The Yin Yoga Training Includes:

** Lots of practice of the essential yin sequences experiencing the effects on the body,

** Short practice teaching essential yin sequences with relevant modifications and adjustments,

** The physiological effects of Yin Yoga on the connective tissue and joints,

** Skillfully combining a Yin/Yang practice,

** Appropriate use of props and music

EXPERIENCING AND TEACHING


Join Linda Shoyer and Sonia Lennartz for this weekend long training where they explore deeper aspects of Yin Yoga, a complementary practice to the more dynamic and invigorating forms of exercise that are predominant today.  More than a regular class, we will learn key concepts of Yin that aim to cultivate a healthy body and mind as well as nurture the softer, slower, deeper parts of our being. Through long held poses, Yin yoga aims at stressing deeper tissues of the body and balancing our emotional and energy body.  In addition, we will also guide those that would like to teach Yin with specifics in modifications, anatomy of poses and creating class with music.  Geared toward teachers, but open to all

COST: $175 early registration before April 1

After April 1, cost is $200

Saturday: 11:00am - 5:30pm (break included)
